Jakarta Dept. of Water Management holds Kali Sekretaris normalization project socialization, Monday (9/28). The socialization held in Kebon Jeruk Sub-district office was attended by building owners along the riverbank.
After the sheet pile, next project is dredging the mud on the river
As planned, the department will install sheet pile on the west side of the river along 1,454 meters starting from Jalan Patra Bridge up to Tomang Reservoir.
Agus Triyono, Head of Kebon Jeruk Sub-district, said his side invited the citizens to explain the project implementation.

The sheet pile installment is aimed to prevent inundation during the rainy season.
"After the sheet pile, next project is dredging the mud on the river," he told.
He hoped the local residents support this project for the sake of residents' comfort.
"The sheet pile installment is started in October to November," he disclosed.
